PLEASANT GROVE, Utah—March 7, 2019—In celebration of International Women’s Day, doTERRA—the world’s largest essential oil company—is partnering with professional basketball star, Donovan Mitchell, to help launch his new foundation—SPIDACARES—which, among other things, will be dedicated to empowering women from all walks of life. 

“When women are given a fair shot, they’re absolute game changers,” said Donovan Mitchell, professional basketball star and doTERRA Performance Advocate. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without my mother and sister and, with the help of doTERRA, I am excited to help empower the next generation of women.” 

Donovan’s mother, Nicole, will assist him with the new foundation. In addition to empowering women, they plan on working to positively impact communities by leveling the playing field in health, education and athletics for children and their families. In addition to today’s announcement, doTERRA has been celebrating International Women’s Day throughout the week by honoring and highlighting its female sourcing partners, employees, and Wellness Advocates around the globe.
