Discovery Park Rebuild Project Totals More Than 3,000 Volunteer Hours
The Discovery Park has been one of Pleasant Grove’s Primary landmarks since it was built over 20 years ago. Volunteers were originally used to build the park in only two weeks. Through the years, the park has fallen in disrepair. doTERRA, as a proud member of the Pleasant Grove community, teamed up with the Fredette Family Foundation to donate financing, and volunteers to rebuild this beloved local icon.
The “Rediscover Discovery Park” initiative was a success. doTERRA employees donated over 3,000 hours of service. Professional basketball player and local college basketball legend Jimmer Fredette, founder of the Fredette Family Foundation, also volunteered at the construction site. A highlight of the new playground is its all-inclusivity, meaning it includes ramps and smooth turf to provide access to children of all abilities.
doTERRA is proud to help support similar initiatives in the local community, and around the world.
