Christmas Food Drive
The holidays are a wonderful time to spread kindness and share a gift with those closest to us. Unfortunately, for some, the holidays are more stressful than the rest of the year. Many are forced to look outward for help because they cannot provide for necessities like food. According to the Daily Journal, the Holidays are the busiest time for local food pantries.
There is much that can be done when a lot of people do a little. During doTERRA’s holiday party, red bags were distributed to everyone that attended. Those in charge instructed employees to fill these bags with food and return them to corporate headquarters. The goal was to gather as much food as possible to a donate to Tabitha’s Way, a local food pantry.
The response from employees was incredible. The atrium at the Pleasant Grove office of doTERRA was filled with the red bags. After the food was delivered, Tabitha’s Way reported 1,317 pounds of food donated from our local Utah employees. This is just one of the many ways doTERRA gives back to the community and helps embrace those that are less fortunate.
