Jun 18, 2020

doTERRA is the first global aromatherapy and essential oils company to be accepted into the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM). RIFM’s purpose is to gather and analyze scientific data, engage in testing and evaluation, distribute information, cooperate with official agencies, and encourage uniform safety standards related to the use of fragrance ingredients.

doTERRA was welcomed into RIFM because of its unique sourcing practices and purity of product. RIFM also invited doTERRA scientists to contribute their essential oils’ knowledge and expertise as part of the organization’s natural complex substances working group.

Dr. Russell J. Osguthorpe, doTERRA Chief Medical Officer, and Timothy Valentiner, VP of Global Strategic Sourcing recently sat down to discuss the significance of this partnership. Check out the video to learn more.
