Utah Economic & Energy Summit

Nov 4, 2020

doTERRA had the opportunity this week to participate in the Utah Economic & Energy Summit. As the state’s premier event for community leaders, executives and decision-makers, the Utah Economic & Energy Summit provides insights on Utah’s accomplishments and offers tools for professional success.

In an article highlighting the event from business.utah.gov, Miles Hansen, president and CEO of WTC Utah stated, “It’s impossible to talk about Utah’s economy without placing the discussion in the global context in which Utah companies are competing and winning every day. Utah has reported the highest export growth rate over the past two years, and international sales add $5 billion in additional revenue for Utah small businesses. Utah’s path to economic growth and prosperity runs directly through global markets; that’s why the Summit has such a strong emphasis on international issues and opportunities.”

In response to current COVID-19 conditions in the state, the summit was transitioned into a virtual-only event, which gave doTERRA the opportunity to record a message to event attendees. Missy Larsen, doTERRA VP of Philanthropy and Community Impact, highlighted the company’s impact in Utah and beyond. Watch her message here.
